Michael Buble, following the announcement that he will be extending his US spring tour, has added on a run of Canadian shows to back “Crazy Love.” Buble since last checked has added eight more performances onto his upcoming itinerary, pushing back the spring leg all the way to late August. Buble will be kicking off his trek with an Orlando concert on March 10. This will be followed by shows in arenas for most of the major US markets from coast to coast and wrap up in Vancouver on August 20.

Michael Buble has mapped out a late winter as well as early spring trek over the US to back “Crazy Love,” his new chart topping album. The 2010 tour will be kicking off in Orlando, FL on March 10 and then make its way to 19 US cities. Currently the run will end in Los Angeles on April 9, although more dates are expected to be added earlier in the year. Venues for the shows will be announced soon.

Last week “Crazy Love” by Michael Buble debuted on top of Billboard’s US album chart. It will stay in that position after experiencing an increase in sales of 55% over the debut week total. According to retail figures from Nielsen SoundScan reported by Bilboard, “Crazy Love” during the first week of its release sold 132,000 copies and 203,000 copies during its first full week in stores.

There isn’t any mystery at this point surrounding what a new album from Michael Buble will contain. The singer may push the envelope gently with a cover that is unexpected or once in a while a daring arrangement, but what you can count pretty much on are the same time tested and well executed combinations of a few blue chip standards, a couple other radio friendly original tunes and some swinging contemporary pop song covers.

Michael Buble will be mixing remade standards with new material on his upcoming album “Crazy Love,” the first album from the singer in over two years. Scheduled to be released in October, “Crazy Love” consists of two original songs with 11 covered standards. These include “Baby You’ve Got What It Takes,” “You’re Nobody Till somebody Loves You,” “Georgia On My Mind,” and “Cry Me A River.”

Initial dates have been announced by Michael Buble for a forthcoming tour of the US late this years as he continues backing “Call Me Irresponsible,” his Grammy winning album from last year. The traditional/big band singer from Canada will be kicking of his run in Baltimore on October. He will have five dates during the month of October. According to the website for Buble, more shows will be added for Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Kansas, Illinois and Ohio.

After recently wrapping up the leg in Canada on his world tour, Michael Buble will take a short break before embarking on an eight week run of the US. The singer from Canada will be be back on the road starting February 20 and have four Florida shows and then travel through the East and South until late April. He has added since last check a stand of two nights in Atlantic City as well as almost 12 visits in the East Coast as well as Indianapolis and Ohio.

After closing out 2007 with concerts in South Africa and Europe, singer Michael Buble will be returning early next year to North America’s tour circuit. The native of Canada is planning to open up his performance schedule for 2008 with a Canadian tour starting in mid January. The trek will stretch into early February. This will be followed with a round of new shows in the US launching in late February and stretching so far into mid March.

Fans of Michael Buble are snatching up tickets for his forthcoming tour of the US, prompting the singer from Canada to add a third show in several of the US major markets. The trek, which will be kicking off in Reno, NV on July 12, now has three night stands in Seattle, Los Angeles, New York City and Chicago, and stands of two nights in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston and Minneapolis. Recently a Verona, NY date has been added.
